My WHY for being a loan officer. After being evacuated from serving abroad as a Peace Corps Volunteer, due to the pandemic, I came back to the U.S. with plans to be go into teaching. During that time a lot of my friends were getting into real estate investing and that piqued my interest, as well. I went through an investing course and realized the opportunity to grow my wealth by being in the mortgage industry. I got licensed and was still in the mindset that this was something I would do more as a side-hustle, part-time. As I began working with my very first clients, EVERYTHING shifted. The mortgage industry stole my heart! I realized that everything I had searched for in a career was right in front of me. I can fulfill my love to educate as I walk clients through the home-buying process, have the flexibility to work from anywhere, connect people together through my referral partners, and see the pure JOY in my clients faces as they get the keys to their new homes.
